TBay Lovin

Two cities, one bay, and the best persians on Earth.

Thunder Bay is two cities pretending to be one, and we love it that way. Port Arthur up north, Fort William down south, and the Intercity strip holding the middle together like duct tape on a canoe.

This is the only place on Earth where "a persian" means a pink-iced cinnamon bun and not a cat, and where Finnish pancakes the size of a hubcap count as a personality trait. We'll tell you who's still baking the good ones, which Country Market stall to hit first, and where to grab a pint after the trail.

The Sleeping Giant lies across the bay like he's heard all your plans and decided to nap on them. We're here for the Top of the Giant hikes, the mist off Kakabeka, the summer nights at Marina Park, and the universal Lakehead truth that "going to camp" is a complete sentence. Bring a sweater, because the northern lights don't check the calendar.

TBay Lovin is your guide to the real Lakehead, north side to south side, Westfort to Current River, persians to patios. Big lake, bigger Giant, and a city that's far better than the rest of Ontario remembers it is.
